Five Smart city buses to run on five new routes from July 1

To make travelling better and to provide more facility to the people for easy transportation the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation has decided to run five smart city buses on five new routes from Friday under ‘Travel as you like’ scheme.

These buses will ply on

Route no 7 Aurangpura to Hindustan Awas

Route no 8. Aurangpura to Waluj

Route no 10- Aurangpura to Shivajinagar

Route no 16- CIDCO to Maliwada and

Route no 43- Central Bus Stand to Karmad

The municipal corporation has appointed drivers and conductors on a contractual basis for the bus service.

To ease the payment system an e-ticket facility has also been arranged in the bus. he The system will allow passengers to pay bus fares in addition to cash through smart cards, debit cards and mobile wallets.
