Aurangabad records 40.5 degrees C

Aurangabad recorded a drop in maximum temperature on Saturday giving some relief from the scroaching heat wave.

On Saturday the city recorded a drop of -1.9 degrees Celisus recording 40.5 degrees Celsius maximum temperature of the day.

In a day the city recorded 26 degrees Celsius minimum temperature.

IMD has predicted that the sky will be clear in coming days and no warning of heat wave has been issued for the city.

Earlier on April 28, at 42.1 degrees C, Aurangabad city had recorded the highest temperature of this summer so far.

Among other cities in Marathwada, Parbhani and Nanded recorded 42.8 degrees C respectively.

While the data for Beed, Osmanabad and Udgir was not mentioned at the time of this report.
