AMC removes encroachment from Ghati

The anti-encroachment department of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Tuesday removed the encroachment on footpaths from Jubilee Park to Ghati.

A total of 15 encroachments were removed. AMC has taken a harsh stand on removing encroachments in the city.

Locals often complained about the difficulties they are facing the campaign was launched to resolve traffic jam issue in the area and maintain clean and beautiful image of city.

According to details, a total of 15 stall of various business were setup in the area. Some had started business like blood test lab, medical store, and restaurant.

During the action, it came to light that some had encroached on the place by applying in the name of a disabled person.
